Hull Rugs FAQ'S

Due to the pandemic, a few things have changed here at Hull Rugs. We are no longer able to order rugs from our regular supplier so we are currently updating our website. Some of your favourite rugs may be out of stock or discontinued but don't worry we have lots more stock coming soon. This year has hit us all hard but we are trying to build back the business we once were. As a small family run business, we appreciate your continued support and custom and hope to provide you with the best service we possibly can at this time.

We are still open for business and hope you will continue to order from our selection of rugs and keep a look out for more ranges coming soon.

Browse our collection of rugs and add them to your shopping cart. You can then pay with your PayPal account If you do not have a PayPal account you can check out as a guest using your debit or credit card.

If you would prefer to pay by card only, click on the card/debit card option. Once your order is confirmed we will send you a secure payment link to pay.

All payments are secure; please see our SSL certificate padlock in the address bar. Once you have paid you will receive a confirmation by email and/or text message.

Please specify if there is any extra delivery information or if you would like to leave your parcel with a neighbour on check out in the extra information box.

Yes, if we hold the stock here in Hull we can deliver the same day.
All the pictures on the website are provided by our supplier and taken in a studio. We do not know the size of the rugs in the images but usually, the bigger sizes are used for the purpose of advertising.

The rugs we have for sale are rolled up and packaged ready for delivery. You will not be getting the actual rug in the image.

Unfortunately, at this time we do not deliver outside of the UK.

It is always best to have a tape measure so you know what size you are ordering but If you are unsure of sizes please email us and we will try and help you find the right size for your room. info@hullrugs.co.uk 

All our rugs are measured in centimetres and specified on the page as 'cm'
Once your order has been shipped you will receive an email from the delivery service and/or Hull Rugs confirming your tracking details.

If the delivery date is not suitable for you, you can contact the courier directly to change your delivery day or choose a collection point.

Any issues with delivery contact them with your tracking details. If you haven't been given your tracking details and you are expecting a delivery contact info@hullrugs.co.uk

Sometimes emails can get sent to junk mail depending on your email rules. Please check your junk/spam folders for your email before contacting us. If your email has been sent to junk please mark it as safe so you receive all mail from us.

No problem. We understand how hard it is finding the right rug online to suit your home. We offer a 14 day return policy with a full refund and no collection charge.
As soon as your order is processed it is scanned and picked up by the courier service. Once the rug is in the hands of the courier it is down to them to get the rug to you. Shipping usually takes between 1-3 working days. Please allow for any delays at Christmas and New Year when our supplier has closed. Our chosen courier will send you tracking information as soon as it is available.

In the unlikely event of a delay or missing parcel, you are more than welcome to contact us and we can try and sort this out for you or you can contact them yourself with your tracking number. If the rug is lost in transit you can request a refund or we will send you another rug out as soon as possible.




Unfortunately once the rug has left our warehouse we have no control over what happens to it. In the rare event that your rug has been damaged while in transit please contact us straight away to arrange an exchange or refund for you.

FREE Returns
You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be clean, unused and in the same condition that you received it.
Your item must be in the original packaging.
Your item needs to have the receipt/order number or proof of purchase.

Shipping
You can return your rug free of charge. The courier will collect your rug from your original delivery address and provide your return label. Please package your rug up as it was delivered. (fully covered)

Refunds
Once we receive your item, we will notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.
If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your debit card/PayPal (or original method of payment).

No, we do not have a shop we are online based only. The majority of our rugs are already packaged in our UK despatch warehouse for quick delivery to our customers. We do offer a 14 day money back guarantee if the rug is not suitable on arrival.

UK Delivery Rugs are ordered from our supplier and shipped out the next working day. We will keep you informed on the delivery of your order. Please make sure you provide us with your correct email at check out. Please check your junk mail for our confirmation email.

Our inventory is updated every 24 hours. Please be aware that rugs may have been purchased since the last stock check and may now be unavailable. If you would like to check stock before you order please contact us info@hullrugs.co.uk 

We update our inventory every 24 hours but If any rugs are no longer in stock when you order, we will email with a re-stock date and refund you the same way you paid. If paying by debit card please be aware that depending on your bank, your refund may take up to 7 working days to return into your account. Want your refunds quicker? Yes, If you would like to purchase more than one rug don't worry about the delivery cost it will still be the same. Add your rugs to the basket and check-out as normal. Or if you would like to contact us prior to ordering we can check stock and arrange this for you

Please note when ordering more than one rug billing and shipping address must be the same and extra security measures will take place to prevent fraud.

All our rugs are the rugs specified on the picture. All  rugs are from legitimate suppliers that conform to safety standards and fire regulations. Please be aware of online sellers using copyright images to sell other cheaper ranges of rugs. Although rugs may look similar, not all rugs are the same in design and quality.  All our rugs come with a guarantee and refund policy.
The images we use are sent to us by the rug suppliers.

They are constantly reviewing and improving pictures to ensure they are as accurate as possible but there are too many variables for them/us to be able to guarantee that all rugs will be the same colour as depicted on your screen. Colours also vary on different computers/Laptops/Mobile phones due to different screen brightness and contrasts.




NO, We are an ethical retailer. We and our suppliers support all initiatives opposed to child labour across the world and many of our rugs carry the Rugmark, GoodWeave, Kaleen or Care & Fair labels although unfortunately labels don't always get onto every rug that is produced under the guidelines of these organisations.
